Intervenções de enfermagem para o sucesso no aleitamento materno precoce

Abstract

The World Health Organization recommends that breastfeeding is recommended from the very beginning of life. This is one of the strategies for the promotion, protection and support of breastfeeding campaigns in our country. The nursing staff plays an important role in this transition from wife / mother and nurturer, which takes place in the delivery room and maternity, guiding and assisting women during the institutionalized practices. This work was developed in the Mother and Child Hospital of Brasilia (HMIB) as the objective of contributing to new shares nursing and other professionals involved in the delivery and in the first hour after birth, in a way that make it possible to improve the quality and continuity of care in the care given to postpartum and newborn. The target group to which it was proposed that intervention work in partnership with the team of the Obstetric Center nurses, intended for women who have a normal progress of labor and subsequent vaginal delivery. After identifying the problem, the early feeding intervention study was focused on the participation of nursing staff in the pursuit of promotion guidelines that contributed to collaborate to change this reality. The work was divided into two stages: the first is the team work with the mothers and the second analysis of the results and had the support of the Supervisory and Nurses nurse on the team, care and obstetric, who was willing to collaborate.
