Projeto de intervenção para aumentar a adesão ao tratamento de pacientes hipertensos, na estratégia saúde da família de um município de Minas Gerais

Abstract

Systemic Arterial Hypertension (SAH) is one of the most deadly diseases in the world. Most of the time, the disease is asymptomatic, which makes early diagnosis difficult. Many patients have poor adherence to drug and non-drug treatment. For this reason, the health team should play an important role in promoting hypertension control. After analyzing the biggest problems of the hypertensive population of the ESF Laranja, from Bairro Cidade Nobre - Ipatinga, it was decided to elaborate an intervention project focused on the problem of lack of educational actions in a systematic way, focused on the hypertensive. The fact that hypertensive users have low adherence to treatment for medicated and non-medicated arterial hypertension implies the need for a continuous educational work process. Thus, the present study aims to develop an intervention project through educational actions to improve the adherence of hypertensive patients to treatment. It will be attended by hypertensive patients attended by the Orange FHS. The methodology used will be participatory, whose basic principle is participation, the development of critical reflection and the encouragement of behavior change. Educational games will be applied to check participants' learning about the disease and to stimulate the change of habits and lifestyle. It is expected that after the actions taken, there will be a greater bond between the Orange health team and the hypertensive patients treated by the team; that the objectives proposed with the population are reached and that the health team can continue the intervention project, which can serve as a model for other health teams in the municipality.
