Quedas como fator de risco para a perda da capacidade funcional dos idosos institucionalizados: uma proposta de capacitação para cuidadores

Abstract

The fall in the elderly has multifactorial causes, making it necessary to know the agents that can contribute to their occurrence. This Intervention Project aims to elaborate an intervention proposal to prevent and / or minimize the risk of falls in elderly people treated at an ILP located in the city of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. This action will take place through an educational lecture. It is expected that, with this, there will be a transformation in the way of thinking and acting of the caregivers of the elderly for a reduction or dissolution in the falls of institutionalized elderly people, as well as the maintenance of effective work in the prevention of these adverse events and resolution of problems when these, even if possibly avoidable, present themselves.
