dc.description.abstractObjective: to identify of the childbirth plan construction by the women of the prenatal educational group offered at birthing center. Method: this was descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection took place in a birthing center located in Rio de Janeiro, and the participants of the study were 11 puerperal assistants in the process of childbirth and birth. The data were submitted to the content analysis, in the thematic modality. Results: the development of the category "Childbirth planning as care technology", showed that the childbirth plan is a fundamental instrument because it is based on the knowledge acquired during prenatal care and workshops for pregnant women, a fact considered essential for women's autonomy. Final Considerations: the results corroborate the guidelines of the World Health Organization and the humanization policies of childbirth and birth of the Ministry of Health, which translate into their documents the need for qualified and safe care.pt_BR
dc.description.resumoObjetivo: identificar a construção do plano de parto pelas mulheres do grupo educativo do pré-natal oferecidos em Casa de Parto. Método: trata-se de pesquisa descritiva com abordagem qualitativa. A coleta de dados deu-se numa casa de parto localizada no Rio de janeiro, sendo as participantes da pesquisa 11 puérperas assistidas no processo de parto e nascimento. Os dados obtidosforam submetidos à análise de conteúdo, na modalidade temática. Resultados: o desenvolvimento da categoria “Plano de parto como tecnologia do cuidado”, evidenciou que o Plano de Parto é um instrumento fundamental por ser embasado nos conhecimentos adquiridos durante o pré-natal e oficinas para gestantes, fato esse considerado essencial para a autonomia feminina. Considerações Finais: os resultados corroboram as diretrizes da Organização Mundial de Saúde e as políticas de humanização do parto e nascimento do Ministério da Saúde que traduzem, em seus documentos, a necessidade de uma assistência qualificada e segura.pt_BR
