| Abstract: | Português como Língua de Acolhimento é uma disciplina que se insere na área de Português como Língua Adicional e encontra o seu lugar tanto no âmbito da Linguística Aplicada quanto no campo de Direitos Humanos, uma vez que a educação é um direito humano de acordo com a Constituição Brasileira de 1988. A globalização e o advento das migrações internacionais, em geral, motivaram o desenvolvimento de estudos sobre o ensino de Português como Língua de Acolhimento (GROSSO, 2010; AMADO, 2013), cujo foco é o ensino de Português para imigrantes e refugiados. No presente artigo, analisamos, a partir de uma perspectiva êmica, as ideologias linguísticas e crenças que emergem na fala de um estudante haitiano durante uma conversa informal sobre sua aprovação no Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (ENEM) e o consequente ingresso em uma universidade pública gratuita no Brasil. |
| Abstract: | Portuguese as a Welcoming Language is a discipline which finds its place both in the scope of Applied Linguistics and also in the field of Human Rights since education is a human right according to the Brazilian Constitution of 1988. The globalization and the advent of international migration in general motivated the development of the field of Portuguese as a Welcoming Language (GROSSO, 2010; AMADO, 2013). In this chapter, we are interested in analyzing from an emic perspective the linguistic ideologies and beliefs that emerge in the speech of a Haitian student during an informal conversation about his approval in the Brazilian exam of access to the Brazilian higher education, Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (ENEM), and the consequent admission to a free public University in Brazil. |
