| Abstract: | A televisão historicamente vem sendo pensada por meio de uma série de relações dicotômicas, que propõem um “dentro” e um “fora” bem delimitados e pacificados. Em contraposição a essa perspectiva, neste artigo, buscamos desenvolver um exercício reflexivo e historicizante sobre modos de entendimento da TV, a partir de um termo que já foi muito usado, mas que vem caindo em desuso nos últimos anos: trata-se do substantivo “televisionamento”. A partir da recuperação da força dessa metáfora e da exploração de certos fenômenos midiáticos atuais (advindos da TV “convencional” e do YouTube, por exemplo), propomos um passeio sobre diferentes textualidades televisivas, abordando algumas de suas transformações, questionando perspectivas autocentradas. Concluímos ressaltando a importância de se abandonar análises midiacêntricas a fim de se compreender a formação e a experiência dos telespectadores atuais, bem como as novas realidades que estão sendo construídas em meio a esse televisionamento do mundo. |
| Abstract: | Television historically has been thought through a series of dichotomous relations, with a well-delimited and pacified “inside” and “outside”. In contrast to this perspective, in this article, we seek to develop a historic and reflexive exercise on modes of understanding of TV, from a term that has been widely used, but has been falling into disuse in recent years: it is “televising”. From the recovery of the strength of this metaphor and the exploration of certain current media phenomena (coming from “conventional” TV and YouTube, for example), we propose a tour of different television textualities, addressing some of its transformations, questioning self-centered perspectives. We conclude by emphasizing the importance of abandoning mid-centric analysis in order to understand the training and experience of current viewers, as well as the new realities that are being constructed in the midst of this world televising. |
