| Abstract: | Na passagem do século XVII para o XVIII ocorreram implantações de vias de acesso à região das minas, no interior do território da América portuguesa. A partir de 1717, e por conta de uma crescente movimentação pela mais nova dessas vias, teve início a construção de postos de controle em pontos estratégicos localizados, nomeadamente, na divisa entre capitanias. |
| Abstract: | In the passage of the seventeenth century to the eighteenth occurred implantation of access roads to the region of the mines, within the territory of Portuguese America. From 1717, and for the account of a growing movement by the newest of these roads, commenced the cons-truction of checkpoints located at strategic locations, particularly on the border between cap-taincies. |
