| Abstract: | Chapéuzinho Vermelho, o mais- difundido entre os contos folclóricos, comumente chamados- "contos de fadas", apresenta duas adaptações clássicas, que se tornaram ponto de referência para as demais versões: a de Perrault (França, fins do século XVII), que tem desfecho trágico, e a dos irmãos Grimm (Alemanha, inicio do século XIX), que apresenta um final feliz. A análise de trinta e três versões desse conto em língua portuguesa apontou grandes* alterações nas estruturas originais. Omitem-se trechos importantes para o desenvolvimento da narrativa e/ou acrescentam-se dados irrelevantes, numa linguagem quase sempre pueril, marcada pelo clichê e pelo didatismo. Esses problemas relativos ao texto fazem-se acompanhar, muitas vezes, por outros de ordem gráfica, o que revela o desrespeito e a redução de que é vitima a criança em grande parte da produção cultural a ela endereçada. |
| Abstract: | Little Red Hood, the most widely known among the folklore tales, the so called "fairy tales", presents two classic adaptations which turned into landmarks for the several other versions: Perrault's (.France, late XVII century), presenting a tragic epilogue, and Grimm brothers' (Germany, early XIX century) showing a happy end. The analysis of thirt three Portuguese language versions of this tale pointed out significant alterations of both original structures. Important passages for the development of the narrative are omitted and/or irrelevant data are added in a style of expression almost always puerile and marked by cliche and didactism. These problems related to the text are accompanied, many times, by others concerning printing, revealing the disrespect and the belittlement towards the children in most of the cultural productions addressed to them. |
