Repercussões psicossociais e espirituais na pessao submetida ao transplante de órgão sólido

Abstract

The organ transplant is a very complex procedure that besides the issue technical / scientific, psychological implications, social, ethical / legal and financial. The change of lifestyle, often with socioeconomic repercussions, beliefs and taboos, cultural and religious aspects are factors that can affect how psychological, social and spiritual. However, in practice care, it can be seen that attention to the patient postoperatively, either mediate or later is basically focused on biological aspects. This study aimed to analyze the effects on psychosocial and spiritual person undergoing solid organ transplantation. It is an integrative review conducted with 12 articles published between 2000 to 2010 in Portuguese and Spanish and authors were mostly psychologists. Were identified in the psychological effects: anxiety, fear, delusions and hallucinations, fantasies, happiness, sadness, depression, anxiety, body image dissatisfaction, insecurity and rejection. In the social area: social integration difficulties by changing the physical appearance, physical activity limitations, discrimination in the work resumed and the inability to work and the spiritual guilt faith hope and disbelief. Knowledge of psychosocial and spiritual repercussions constitute subsidies for professionals to provide a more holistic service and may instigate reflection on the professional practice of nursing by being closer to patients undergoing solid organ transplantation, and stimulate the development of new studies.
