| Abstract: | No trabalho como professora de matematica em escolas publicas observo que os alunos apresentam dificuldades na compreensao de textos escritos, o que ocorre principalmente no uso do livro didatico, onde eles nao dominam a linguagem ali presente. Este trabalho tem por objetivo identificar e analisar alguns elementos da linguagem utilizada em livro didatico da matematica. Para isso, ao adotar o tipo deanalise linguistica, optou-se por investigar um livro didatico de matematica do ensino medio, mais especificamente no conteudo de funcoes. A escolha do livro didatico pesquisado usou como referencia o guia PNLD/ 2015 (Programa Nacional do Livro Didatico) e a relacao de distribuicao do FNDE. Tomou-se como referencial teorico a semiotica social, em particular os trabalhos de Candia Morgan. Os elementoslinguisticos estabelecido por Morgan sao: Uso de Pronomes; Funcao Impessoal; Funcao Impositiva e Vocabulario Especializado da Matematica (uso de simbolos; objeto representacional; nominalizacao e formas de linguagem da matematica escolar). Esta pesquisa e qualitativa e analisa os enunciados de atividades do livro, para tal, as caracterizamos em tres contextos diferentes usando Skovsmose, damatematica pura, da semirrealidade e da realidade. Com relacao aos resultados pode-se inferir que a linguagem apresentada nos enunciados analisados, usa-se muitos elementos que pode afastar o leitor, tratando-o de forma passiva e autoritaria, usando um vocabulario especializado, com simbolos e nominalizacoes, o que nao vai aproximar esse leitor do texto. O produto dessa pesquisa visa elaboracao de umtexto formativo de orientacao didatica para professores de matematica, no sentido de ajudar a entender e facilitar o uso de livros didaticos por parte dos alunos. |
| Abstract: | At work as a mathematics teacher in public schools observe that students have difficulties in understanding written texts, it occurs mainly in the use of textbooks where they do not dominate there this language. This work aims to identify and analyze some elements of the language used in the teaching of mathematics book. For this, to adopt the kind of linguistic analysis, we investigated a textbook high school math, more specifically the content of functions. The choice of textbook researched used as a reference guide PNLD / 2015 (National Textbook Program) and FNDE distribution ratio. It was taken as a theoretical social semiotics, in particular the work of Candia Morgan. The linguistic elements established by Morgan are: Use of Pronouns; Impersonal Function; Function Impositive and Vocabulary Specialized Mathematics (use of symbols, representational object; nominalization and forms ofschool mathematical language). This research is qualitative and analyze the statements of the book of activities to this end, the feature in three different contexts using Skovsmose, pure mathematics, semi-reality and reality. Regarding the results it can be inferred that the language presented in the statements analyzed, it uses many elements that can alienate the reader, treating it passive and authoritarian manner,using a specialized vocabulary, with symbols and nominalizations, which will not close this text reader. The product of this research is aimed at developing a didactic and formative text for math teachers, to help understand and facilitate the use of textbooks by students. |
