A tragédia entre a política e a juridicidade: passado e futuro nas narrativas trágicas

Abstract

From the conception of history as a narrative construction of meaning inguiding human action, in which converge different temporal extractsoverlapping established experiences and expectations towards thefuture, we aim to demonstrate, from an analysis of the Athenian polis inthe passage to the fifth century BC, the dawn of legality in its closerelationship with the political field and action. Through analysis of thetragic narrative and its relation to political and social institutions of theancient world, we seek to reconstruct the processes of redefinition ofpolitical life that operate in close affinity that intertwine the concepts ofdemocracy and law. Thus the Greek tragedy shows itself as a civicinstitution through which the temporal conflicts shows appears in theiressence revealing the dilemmas involving the definition andconsolidation of Law in its prehistory.
