Logística reversa para bens pós-consumo: implantação do projeto de coleta seletiva na cidade de Mateus Leme/MG com inserção social dos catadores de materiais recicláveis

Abstract

One proposal aimed at environmental conservation to sustainable development is the selective collection - which consists of separating the trash that is sent for recycling. It means not mix recyclables with other refuse. It can be done by any citizen or organized in the community: associations, condominiums, businesses, schools, clubs, cities, among others. This proposal goes beyond environmental issues, taking into account also social issues in relation to scavengers, removing them from the informal market. Usually we think of logistics as the management of product flow from their point of purchase to point of consumption. This work comes from the application of effort in the study of reverse flow of post-consumer goods in the city of Mateus Leme (MG). With the formation of the association of recycling system has been used doorto- door to collect waste from the city's population, their main objectives are: to preserve the environment, employment generation and income, allowing for better recovery of citizenship quality of life associated with the scavengers and their families. It has been aimed at identifying the generation of employment and income in the city of Mateus Leme through the reverse logistics of post-consumer goods through the process of collection. For this it is necessary: to identify the degree of public awareness of Mateus Leme, as the process of selective collection and pay and working as scavengers, the treatment of recycling, storage and marketing as well as its order and destination.
