Terapia Comunitária para pacientes usuários de medicamentos psicotrópicos na Atenção Primária em Saúde

Abstract

The purpose of this work Completion of the Specialization Course in Primary Care in Community Health at Family Health NESCON, UFMG was further studies of the orientations given to people in the area covered by the team of family health that make continuous use of prescription drugs for mental disorders and depend on the exchange of revenue for the acquisition of new medicines. The objectives were to improve the quality of care team members' family health to people who use prescription drugs and depend on the FHT physician to change the recipe and analyze the proposal and implement the community care for users ranging the stock exchange and to receive medication for mental disorders. The methodology consisted of literature review in scientific and public policy legislation, selected from the proposed objectives. The texts read were obtained in scientific sites (SciELO) and institutional (MS). Concomitant with the reading and analysis of texts have been initiated "Wheels of Conversation" to care for patients enrolled in the group that monthly go to the post in search of prescription drugs for mental disorders. Currently the wheels are weekly, prior Groups Swap Revenue controlled. As a result it is noted that this activity has been increasing and that some patients increased their resilience in the face and attempt to solve their problems together, gradually reducing the use of medications. Moreover, it has narrowed the links between employee and users, making the tension offered more humane and quality. It is a new experience for patients and staff, who are learning new skills and expertise in the difficult art and science of health care in the Unified Health System.
