| Abstract: | Essa pesquisa parte da curiosidade de compreender como o lugar Inhotim é constituído e, sobretudo, de que forma os moradores de Brumadinho se apropriam desse lugar e o apreendem como espaço museológico, especializado em arte contemporânea e botânica, em sua ênfase cultural e ambiental. O Instituto Cultural Inhotim enquanto lugar, é carregado de significados e narrativas de quem mora no mesmo território no qual o Instituto encontra-se inserido. Ele possui elementos locais, globais e contemporâneos e é representado por meio das relações estabelecidas (ou não), das experiências, dos encantamentos, dos conflitos, dos contrastes. Desse ponto de vista, deve-se considerar todos os sentidos atribuídos em relação a ele. Afinal, o lugar incorpora afeto, sentimento de pertencimento, mas também estranhamento. |
| Abstract: | This research is based on the curiosity to understand how the "Inhotim place" is constituted and, above all, how the inhabitants of Brumadinho appropriate of this place and apprehend it as a museum space specialized in contemporary art and botany in its cultural and environmental emphasis. The Cultural Institute Inhotim as a place is loaded with meanings and narratives of those who live in the same territory in which the Institute is inserted. It has local, global and contemporary elements and is represented by established relationships (or not), experiences, incantations, conflicts, and contrasts. From this point of view, one should consider all the meanings attributed in relation to it. After all, the place embodies affection, feeling of belonging, but also estrangement. |
