| Abstract: | Este trabalho consiste em apresentar uma classificação completa dos elementos reversíveis e fortemente reversíveis no grupo de isometrias holomorfas do espaço hiperbólico complexo, denotado por PU(n; 1), e nos grupos U(n), SU(n), U(n; 1) e SU(n; 1), grupos estes que são de profundo interesse para a geometria hiperbólica complexa. Este trabalho foi baseado no artigo "Reversible Complex Hyperbolic Isometries" de K. Gongopadhyay e J. R. Parker [15]. |
| Abstract: | This dissertation presents a complete classification of the reversible and strongly reversible elements in the holomorphic isometries group of the complex hyperbolic space, denoted by PU(n; 1), and in the groups U(n), SU(n), U(n; 1) and SU(n; 1). Those groups are of large importance to the complex hyperbolic geometry. This work is based on the "Reversible Complex Hyperbolic Isometries" authored by K. Gongopadhyay and John R. Parker [15]. |
