| Abstract: | O princípio de Integralidade como atributo das práticas assistenciais de saúde abarca valores e dimensões articuladas como: acolhimento, vínculo e responsabilização, e qualidade da atenção. Na vertente acolhimento, a atitude do profissional de saúde frente a sua conduta clínica ou frente à sua equipe de trabalho requer cuidado, respeito, responsabilidade e referenciais ético-humanísticos. O processo reflexivo construído a partir de então, produz outro entendimento sobre o acolhimento que pode ser percebido também como uma estratégia de reorganização dos serviços. Esta estratégia propõe inverter a lógica da organização e do funcionamento do serviço de saúde priorizando a necessidade dos usuários em detrimento ao modus operandi anterior, médico-centrado. Em uma instituição de ensino odontológico, objetivou-se avaliar estes preceitos na prática assistencial e em seu instrumento pedagógico. Como recurso norteador para avaliação da Integralidade, dimensão Acolhimento, utilizou-se uma estratégia metodológica proposta por Silva Júnior e Mascarenhas, em 2004. Foram entrevistados pacientes, alunos, funcionários e professores desta instituição e um estudo qualitativo, com uma análise de dados a partir do Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo, foi desenvolvido. O maior desafio encontrado no aspecto Acesso Organizacional, relacionou-se à disponibilidade de vagas aos usuários. Dentro do item Postura Profissional, observou-se uma insatisfação de todos os grupos quanto à relação estabelecida entre as pessoas da equipe. Quanto aos Aspectos Técnicos, o grande problema encontrado diz respeito à dificuldade de estabelecer um verdadeiro trabalho em equipe entre as clínicas de referência e contra referência. A partir destes achados, ficou evidente a real necessidade de mudança do perfil de todos atores envolvidos no processo ensino/assistência dentro da Instituição uma vez que seu papel assistencial e pedagógico dentro do contexto Acolhimento está combalido. |
| Abstract: | The principle of integrality as an attribute of healthcare practice encompasses values and dimensions such as fostering, ties, accountability and quality care. The attitude of the healthcare professional with regard to his/her clinical conduct and work team requires care, respect, responsibility and ethical-humanistic references. The reflexive process thereby established produces a different type of understanding with regard to fostering, which can also be perceived as a strategy for reorganizing healthcare services. This purpose of this strategy is to invert the mindset of the organization and functioning of the healthcare service, prioritizing the needs of the clientele over the previous physician-centered modus operandi. The aim of the present study was to assess these precepts in the care and teaching practices at a dental school. As a guiding force for the assessment of integrality focused on fostering, the methodological strategy proposed by Silva Júnior & Mascarenhas (2004) was employed. Patients, students, employees and teachers at this institution were interviewed and a qualitative study was carried out, with data analysis based on the Discourse of the Collective Subject. The greatest challenged encountered in the Organizational Access aspect was related to the capacity to offer care to more clients. Within the Professional Stance item, dissatisfaction was observed among all groups regarding the established relationship between team members. Regarding the Technical Aspects, the greatest problem encountered concerns the difficulty in establishing true teamwork between the referral and counter-referral clinics. From these findings, there is a real need to change the profile of all those involved in the teaching/care process at the institution, as its role in offering care and teaching within the context of a fostering attitude is inevitably weakened. |
