Ações educativas para pacientes hipertensos- Unidade Básica de Saúde Jesuíno de Souza Lins município de Cruzeiro do Sul- Acre

Abstract

High blood pressure is a condition that affects thousands of people in the world, is one of the main risk factors for the onset of cardiovascular disease and cerebrovascular disease. In daily activity, the Health Family Team Jesuíno de Souza Lins in Cruzeiro do Sul, Acre has identified a high prevalence of hypertensive patients registered showing pressure uncontrolled and without knowledge about the disease, we note also, that in addition to the own arterial hypertension, were present in most patients, the risk factors that favor the appearance of the disease, showing that ignorance was not only the disease, but also the causes that give rise to. This observation motivated the team to draw up a health intervention project using an educational program (educational workshops using methodology initiative and playful participate techniques, involving the participation of users to increase the level of knowledge about hypertension of patients and decrease the prevalence, complications and mortality of users. The methodology used was the Situational strategic planning. The data collected was through the rapid assessment. The next moment a bibliographical research on the topic, with search of theoretical and scientific articles available in the Virtual Health Library, in the Scientific Electronic Library Online, on Virtual Library, in addition to information from the City Department of health as the information system of the basic attention. This theoretical foundation gave support to the elaboration of the theoretical framework and the proposal of intervention based on the Situational strategic planning. The critical situations identified by the health team were inadequate habits and lifestyles; the work process of the unstructured health team and the low level of information of the population about the disease, for which the projects of Life with Health, Health Team more qualified and Know More were implanted respectively. With a participative methodology was evaluated the anterior knowledge of this patients about the physiopathology, diet and physical activities and the responsibility in the self-care. The educative office was a reflection and discussions space about the adoption of healthy life styles, make through the education programs in Arterial Hypertension, permitted to live and work together, sharing knowns, looking a reduction and prevalence of the disease, as the mortality and complications, and this way to make a life quality better and more longer for the patient and the community. We hope to achieve our desired goal.
