| Abstract: | O objetivo deste estudo foi conhecer, em caráter exploratório e segundo uma abordagem qualitativa, a compreensão e percepção de um grupo de mães de crianças com PC sobre o diagnóstico de um filho com PC e sobre sua saúde geral e bucal. A amostra foi composta por 11 mães de filhos com PC, sendo realizadas entrevistas. O tratamento dos dados foi realizado por meio da análise de conteúdo temática. Foram trabalhados três núcleos temáticos: diagnóstico de um filho com PC, saúde geral e saúde bucal. Os resultados revelaram que, para as entrevistadas, a presença de um filho com PC sempre é precedida de uma mudança no cotidiano da família e um aumento ainda maior da responsabilidade dos pais perante aquela criança, principalmente da mãe. Ainda percebe-se uma forte influência do principio biomédico associando saúde como a ausência de doença e com as práticas curativistas. Práticas muito divulgadas e preconizadas, tanto pela mídia como pelos serviços de saúde, como escovação correta com freqüência adequada, foram citadas com freqüência pelas entrevistadas, demonstrando certo doutrinamento dos pacientes. |
| Abstract: | The objective of this study was exploratory and a qualitative study understanding and perception o one group of children`s mothers with cerebral palsy (CP) about son`s diagnostic CP, about health and oral health. The sample was compare for 11 son`s mothers with CP interview were achieved the analysis of contents thematic was realized about same studies. Three thematic nucleus were worked: diagnostic of one son with CP, health and oral health. The conclusion of this study was: the presence of son with CP always is preceded of one change life family and a great responsibility for patient and more important for mother. We observe a great influence of the biomedical principle associated health with absence of disease and medical procedures. The procedures are very informed and recommended for press and health services, how correct brush your teeth with correct frequency were very mention for persons that participate that research and a great influence of these information for the patients. |
