| Abstract: | Este trabalho teve por objetivos identificar as condições do ambiente em que vive a população privada de liberdade da cidade de Belo Horizonte e levantar os principais problemas de saúde apresentados pelos mesmos bem como verificar se há alguma relação entre o ambiente e tais enfermidades. Para tal, foram realizadas pesquisa bibliográfica.e análise de dados secundários, oriundos dos registros de atendimento da equipe de saúde da família responsável por atender este segmento da população Dentre os potenciais fatores geradores de riscos à saúde foram identificados aqueles ligados ao ambiente físico, às condições de higiene, alimentação e pressões psicológicas. Apesar de seu caráter exploratório, o estudo indica que além do ambiente, os comportamentos ligados às atividades sexuais e uso de drogas são fatores que atuam como as principais causas de doenças e riscos à saúde vivenciados por tal população. |
| Abstract: | This study aimed at identifying the environmental conditions in which the population deprived of freedom of the city of Belo Horizonte lives, checking the main health problems presented by them and verifying if there is any relationship between the environment and such diseases. To this end, we analyzed secondary data from the records of the family health care team responsible for serving this segment of the population, views of the prison environment, with photographic records and literature research. Among the potential factors causing health hazards were identified those related to physical environment, the conditions of hygiene, nutrition and psychological pressures. Despite its exploratory nature, the study indicates that besides the environment, behaviors related to sexual activity and drug use are the main causes of diseases and health risks experienced by this population. |
