dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this intervention proposal was to identify and describe how nursing technicians and the primary care health team of the Basic Health Units of the Vargem das Flores Health District, Contagem, Minas Gerais, can help in the early detection of signs and symptoms suggestive of leprosy. . This study was characterized as a descriptive intervention research with a quantitative approach. The population consisted of 389 adults and elderly users of ten basic health units of the Vargem das Flores Sanitary District. Namely UBS Retiro, UBS São Judas Tadeu. UBS Vila Reborn. UBS New Count. UBS Vila Soledade. UBS Hope Village. UBS Shipyard. UBS Tupã. UBS Icaivera. UBS Darcy Ribeiro The results achieved by the Intervention Project indicate that the disease is not eradicated and that a careful look is needed, as well as closer monitoring of the disease by the competent professionals and organs, in order to prevent a sick patient from continuing to quietly contaminate people. or develop more severe forms of the disease or disabilitypt_BR
dc.description.resumoO objetivo dessa proposta de intervenção foi identificar e descrever como técnicos de enfermagem e equipe de saúde da atenção básica de Unidades Básicas de Saúde do Distrito Sanitário Vargem das Flores, Contagem, Minas Gerais, podem auxiliar na detecção precoce de sinais e sintomas sugestivos de hanseníase. Este estudo caracterizou-se por ser uma pesquisa de intervenção, de natureza descritiva, com abordagem quantitativa. A população foi composta por 389 adultos e idosos usuários de dez unidades básicas de saúde do Distrito Sanitário Vargem das Flores. A saber a UBS Retiro, A UBS São Judas Tadeu. UBS Vila Renascer. UBS Nova Contagem. UBS Vila Soledade. UBS Vila Esperança. UBS Estaleiro. UBS Tupã. UBS Icaivera. UBS Darcy Ribeiro Os resultados alcançados pelo Projeto de Intervenção indicam que a doença não está erradicada e que é preciso um olhar atento, além de maior acompanhamento da doença pelos profissionais e órgãos competentes, a fim de impedir que um paciente doente continue contaminando silenciosamente as pessoas ou venha desenvolver formas mais graves da doença ou incapacidades.pt_BR
