| Abstract: | O instrumento PCQ24 é usado para medir o capital psicológico (Psycap) de indivíduos em organizações, porém possui variações entre culturas. Assim, se faz necessário adaptá-lo às particularidades do país ao qual é aplicado. Dessa forma, o artigo tem como objetivo validar a escala PCQ24 para o idioma brasileiro utilizando a metodologia de validação cultural proposta por Beaton, Bombardier, Guillemin e Ferraz (2007) e uma Análise fatorial exploratória (AFE) para obter o agrupamento de itens estatisticamente relevantes que mensurarão os construtos latentes formadores do Psycap. A versão final do instrumento apresentou divergências entre os estudos até então encontrados, contendo 19 itens, nenhuma questão reversa e 5 construtos. Pretende-se com esse artigo auxiliar futuras pesquisas quantitativas sobre o tema, construindo uma escala que represente as necessidades e cultura social e linguística brasileira, além de auxiliar o gestor no desenvolvimento e acompanhamento do nível de capital psicológico nos indivíduos dentro da uma organização. |
| Abstract: | The PCQ24 instrument is used to measure the psychological capital (Psycap) of individuals in organizations, however there is differentiation between cultures. Thus, it is necessary to adapt to the particularities of the country to which it is applied. Therefore, the article aims to validate the PCQ24 scale for the Brazilian language using a cultural validation methodology proposed by Beaton, Bombardier, Guillemin and Ferraz (2007) and an exploratory factorial analysis (EFA) to obtain the grouping of statistically relevant items which measure the latent constructs that form Psycap. The final version of the instrument showed discrepancy among the present studies, containing 19 items, none reversal question and five constructs. The purpose is to assist future quantitative research on the subject, building a scale that represents the needs of the Brazilian socioculture and linguistic, as well as assisting the manager in the development and monitoring of the level of psychological capital in individuals within an organization. |
