| Abstract: | O objetivo do presente trabalho foi descrever a adequação do consumo alimentar de alunos pertencentes a uma creche filantrópica do município de Belo Horizonte - MG. Para tanto, foi avaliado cardápio oferecido pela Unidade Produtora de Refeições- UPR da creche durante sete dias. Para a análise da rejeição, com o valor de resto per capita, foi utilizado o teste de aceitabilidade instituído pelo Programa Nacional de Alimentação Escolar- PNAE e para a avaliação da adequação do consumo alimentar foram anotadas todas as refeições servidas no dia e esses foram avaliados por meio do Software de Nutrição – Dietbox®. Os dados encontrados foram analisados através do Programa Microsoft Office Excel® 2003. A partir do estudo foi possível observar que na UPR o resto per capita avaliado apresentou 7% de rejeição no almoço e 6% no jantar, sendo que o índice de aceitabilidade deve ser de, no mínimo, 10 % de rejeição. Logo, a unidade se mantém dentro do recomendado. Em relação à disponibilidade média de energia, macronutrientes e micronutrientes não atingiu o recomendado, apresentando em média 50% de adequação ao recomendado pelo PNAE. Em relação à rejeição da alimentação escolar foi possível observar que a creche está dentro do padrão, no entanto, as necessidades nutricionais não foram atingidas. Verificou-se a importância no planejamento adequado dos cardápios e a adoção de práticas de educação nutricional para melhorar a adequação das necessidades nutricionais das crianças e reduzir a rejeição das refeições. |
| Abstract: | The objective of the present study was to describe the adequacy of food intake of students belonging to a philanthropic day care center in the city of Belo Horizonte - MG. In order to do so, a menu was evaluated offered by the Unit Producing Meals - UPR of the nursery for seven days. For the analysis of rejection, with the value of rest per capita, used the test of acceptability established by the National School Feeding Programme and to evaluate the adequacy of food consumption were noted all meals served in day and these were evaluated in Software Nutrition - Dietbox®. Data were analyzed using Microsoft Office Excel® program 2003. From the study it was observed that in the rest of UAN per capita evaluated showed 7% rejection at lunch and dinner 6%, and the acceptability of content should be of at least 10% rejection. Therefore, the unit keeps within the recommended. Regarding the average availability of energy, macronutrients and micronutrients did not reach the recommended, with an average of 50% of adequacy recommended by the National School Feeding Programme. Regarding the rejection of school feeding was observed that the day care is within the standard, however, the nutritional needs were not met. The importance of proper planning of menus and the adoption of nutritional education practices to improve the adequacy of children's nutritional needs and reduce meal rejection were assessed. |
