| Abstract: | Sabe-se que o leite materno é a principal fonte de nutriente para as crianças recém-nascidas, com isso tem-se visto o grande incentivo ao aleitamento materno por parte do governo e instituições de saúde. Ressalta-se que dentre os vários fatores que podem levar ao desmame precoce, estão os aspectos fisiológicos, anatômicos, sociais, emocionais e culturais das mulheres. Este estudo visa conhecer melhor estes problemas identificando-os precocemente e propondo medidas para minimizar os danos causados por estas alterações. Para que se alcançassem os resultados foi feito um trabalho de revisão bibliográfica. As bases de dados pesquisadas foram o SciELO e o LILACS, no período de 2008 a 2013, na língua portuguesa. Os resumos foram lidos e os artigos selecionados eram pertinentes ao tema desse estudo. Manuais do Ministério da Saúde, dados do DATASUS e IBGE foram consultados também. Foram analisadas as principais queixas das mulheres quanto ao processo de amamentar e a postura dos enfermeiros diante de tais problemas. Os resultados reforçam a importância do aleitamento materno e mostram que é possível minimizar ou até mesmo sanar a maioria das alterações decorrentes da amamentação. |
| Abstract: | It is known that breast milk is the main source of nutrients for newborn children, it has seen the great breastfeeding promotion by government and health institutions. It is noteworthy that among the various factors that can lead to early weaning, are the physiological, anatomical, social, emotional and cultural rights. This study aims to better understand these problems by identifying them early and proposing measures to minimize the damage caused by these changes. For if they achieved the results was done work of literature review. The databases searched were the SciELO and LILACS in the period 2008-2013, in Portuguese. The abstracts were read and selected items were relevant to the subject of this study. Handbooks of the Ministry of Health, DATASUS and IBGE were also consulted. We analyzed the main complaints of women about the process of breastfeeding and attitudes of nurses facing such problems. The results reinforce the importance of breastfeeding and show that it is possible to minimize or even remedy most changes in breastfeeding. |
