| Abstract: | O presente trabalho busca analisar a estratégia de mediação científica no Museu de Ciência e Técnica da Escola de Minas da Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto, utilizando a Gestão da Informação como campo de análise. Trata-se de um estudo de caso sobre a Coleção de Instrumentos Científicos Claude Henri Gorceix, fundador da Escola de Minas de Ouro Preto, onde se localiza o Museu. Esse trabalho busca responder a questão: como a gestão da informação em coleções musealizadas de ciência e tecnologia interfere nas estratégias de mediação científica no âmbito dos museus detentores desse acervo, por meio da análise de três categorias (função, significado e contexto museológico sobre os objetos da coleção) serão reunidas e sistematizadas as informações, com o objetivo de contribuir para as estratégias de mediação científica empregadas na exposição dessa coleção. |
| Abstract: | The presented paper seeks to analyze the scientific mediation strategy at Science and Technical Museum - School of Mines, Federal University of Ouro Preto by using the Information Management as field of analysis. It is a study case about the Collection of Scientific Instruments Claude Henri Gorceix, founder of the School of Mines of Ouro Preto, where the museum is located. This paper seeks to answer the question: how does the information management in collections musealized of science and technology interferes on the strategies of scientific mediation within the museums that possess these collections? By analyzing three categories: function, significance and museological context of the objects present in the collection, the information will be gathered and systematized, in order to contribute to the scientific mediation strategies used on the exhibitions of this collection. |
