A percepção do profissional de saúde e de outras áreas afins com relação a Rede de Assistência da Violência contra a Mulher

Abstract

Introduction: This research is linked to a project focused on the study of violence that is perpetrated against women, "For Them, For They, Why They, for Us," National framework, implemented by the Federal University of Minas Gerais with support Ministry of Health. for the study were collected 463 questionnaires on line answered by students participating in the training course (EAD) of the Project "for Them", held in the second half of 2014 and January 2015. the course was directed to professionals several Brazilian states, belonging to the network of care for women in situations of violence. This study is expected to reflect on the perception of this professional to meet the service network of violence against women. Objective: The objective of the study was to analyze together the professionals enrolled in distance education, working with women victims of violence, the perception on Violence Assistance Network Against Women. Was part of this research also know the social demographics of subscribers. Methodology: The methodology was the research with quantitative descriptive cross-sectional study, with the main theme addressing violence against women. The data base was obtained by applying a semi-structured questionnaire, which were worked 19 closed questions. The distance to the Refresher Course was the instrument used to provide subsidies for working women's approach to issues in situations of violence. the analysis of several variables was performed, associated with the profile of the perception of the participants in the care of women when in violence and its possible correlations situation. Results: Professionals trained in the last year (70.5%) feel more confident to meet comparing to qualified professionals in the last three years (62.8%). The higher the level of attention in the case, tertiary care (62.2%), the greater the association with positive feelings. trained professionals are more associated with positive feelings (confident and secure) and not trained with negative feelings (unhappy, embarrassed, helpless, fearful, worried, anxious and insecure). Conclusion: The perception of distance education professional participant might represent some aspects of professional practice in the support network of violence against women.
