| Title: | Produção acadêmica do curso de especialização Arquitetura e Organização da Informação da ECI/UFMG: levantamento no período de 2006 a 2008 |

| Abstract: | Buscou-se levantar a produção científica do Programa de Pós-graduação LatoSensu da Escola de Ciência da Informação da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais no período de 2006 a 2008. Procedeu-se a busca bibliográfica dos TCCs na Base Pergamum e, posteriormente, a busca documental na Biblioteca Etelvina Lima. A partir dessa busca, foram quantificados os TCCs e identificadas as temáticas abordadas. Foram analisados 24 TCCs e os trabalhos dos discentes concentraram-se na temática: Estudos de uso e usuários da informação. Sugere-se a entrega dos TCCs em formato eletrônico e a construção de um repositório para promover a disseminação, uso e preservação desta produção tornando possível uma melhor gestão do acervo. Igualmente importante é a inclusão, no decorrer docurso,demais de um módulo da disciplina de Metodologia Científica, contribuindo para o desenvolvimento técnico, ideológico e científico do discente, além de despertar-lhe o espirito de pesquisa e as discussões de temas novos. Ressalta-se a importância de realizar estudos que avaliem uma possível relação entre o perfil dos alunos e a temática mais pesquisada, bem como a busca dos TCCs não localizadosdurante o levantamento. |
| Abstract: | it had been sought to raise the scientific production from the Program of Post-Graduation Lato Sensu from the Information Science School of theFederal University of Minas Gerais in the 2006 to 2008 period. It had proceded the literature ressearch of the CCWs in the Pergamum basis and, after, the documentary research at Etelvina Lima Library. Throughout this research, it had been quantified the CCWs and identified the themes addressed. 24 CCWs were analyzed and the student work was concentrated in the following themes: Studies of use and users of information.It had been suggested that the delivery of CCWs in electronic format and construction of a repository will promote the dissemination, use and preservation of this production and will enable better management of the collection.Equally important is the inclusion, during the course of more than one module of the Scientific Methodology discipline, contributing to the ideological, technical and scientific development of the student, also awakening his spirit of research and the discussions of new topics. It is emphasized the importance of conducting studies to evaluate a possible relationship between the students' profile and prevailing subject, and the pursuit of CCWs not located during the survey |
