dc.description.abstractThis research aims to investigate, under the perspective of Argumentative DiscourseAnalysis, the Brazilian documentary "Estamira" directed by Marcos Prado in 2004. Webelieve that our questioning object fits into the contemporary trend adopted by Braziliandocumentary makers, which consists on casting as their production characters the so-called"natural individuals'. This terminology, present at different times throughout the text,mentions those people who are, to some extent, marginalized by the major media. To buildour analysis, we will use theoretical studies in areas such as cinema, communication andphilosophy. The main themes to be covered in addition to the Argumentative DiscourseAnalysis above mentioned, revolve around the reinterpretation about Rhetoric, by the Belgianphilosopher Michel Meyer, theories of performance, the notion of silence conferred by EniOrlandi, and finally, we close our thesis discussing, in a conclusive way, the matter ofresentment.pt_BR
dc.description.resumoA presente pesquisa objetiva analisar, à luz da Análise Argumentativa do Discurso, o documentário brasileiro "Estamira", dirigido por Marcos Prado em 2004. Pensamos que nosso objeto de problematização se insere na tendência contemporânea, adotada pordocumentaristas brasileiros, que consiste em elencar como personagens de suas produções os chamados "sujeitos singulares". Essa terminologia, presente em diversos momentos ao longo do texto, faz menção àquelas pessoas que se encontram, de certa forma, marginalizadas pelos grandes veículos de comunicação. Para construir a nossa análise, utilizaremos aportes teóricos de áreas como cinema, comunicação e filosofia. Os eixos temáticos a serem contemplados, além da supramencionada Análise Argumentativa do Discurso, giram em torno da releitura a respeito da Retórica, operada pelo filósofo belga Michel Meyer, das teorias da performance, da tratativa concedida por Eni Orlandi à noção de silêncio e, por fim, fechamos a nossa dissertação discutindo, de forma dirimida, a questão do ressentimento.pt_BR
