| Title: | Do grama à tonelada: uma proposta de arranjo institucional para fomentar a transferência de tecnologias entre ICTS e empresas no estado de Minas Gerais |

| Abstract: | O presente trabalho apresenta três casos empíricos, pilotos de uma proposta de Arranjo Institucional para a transferência tecnológica, que objetiva acelerar o processo de maturação e de comercialização de tecnologias geradas pelas universidades federais brasileiras. Por meio desta dissertação, é proposta uma ação coordenada entre entidades do Sistema Regional de Inovação de Minas Gerais — a saber: FIEMG, IEL, CIT-SENAI, CTIT-UFMG, Sindicatos Patronais e Indústrias —, buscando preencher a lacuna existente entre a Academia (Pesquisa de Laboratório/em gramas) e a Indústria (Escala produtiva/em toneladas). Essas interações se deram mediante a assinatura de instrumentos jurídicos específicos, para que as tecnologias geridas pela CTIT-UFMG possam ser estudadas e, eventualemente, pré-aceleradas, prototipadas e escalonadas, por intermédio da infraestrutura tecnológica industrial de unidades específicas do SENAI e com o monitoramento em gestão de projetos do Instituto Euvaldo Lodi do Sistema FIEMG. Os casos empíricos apresentados nesta dissertação propiciaram, até agora, a interação entre pesquisadores e empresários, havendo o intercâmbio de conhecimento e a consequente redução da distância cognitiva das instituições envolvidas. |
| Abstract: | This project is an empirical, pilot case of a proposal of an institutional arrangement for the technological transfer that aims to accelerate the process of development and commercialization of technologies generated by the Federal Universities of Brazil. Through this dissertation, a coordinated action is proposed, involving entities of the Regional Innovation System of Minas Gerais (FIEMG, IEL, CIT-SENAI, CTIT-UFMG, Trade Unions and Industries), seeking to fill the existing gap between the Academy (Laboratory Research / grams) and Industry (Production scale / tonnes). This partnership was achieved through the signing of several specific legal instruments that allows such technologies, managed by CTITUFMG, to be eventually studied, pre-accelerated, prototyped and scaled-up through the industrial technological infrastructure of specific units of SENAI and with monitoring in project management of the Euvaldo Lodi Institute of the FIEMG System. The empirical cases presented by this dissertation have so far provided several meetings with researchers and entrepreneurs. In this way this interaction have already achieve results, such as the exchange of information and knowledge and consequently the reduction of the cognitive distance of the institutions involved. |
