dc.description.abstractHeart failure-HF has a high prevalence of comorbidities and multiple chronic conditions, making very careful the care of the patient with HF, with high risk of decompensation and frequent hospitalizations in the coronary unit. The objective of this study was to identify the educational role of nurses in nursing care given to patients with heart failure. The research had as methodological reference the integrative revision of the literature.The results show that of the articles analyzed, one (17%) is part of the database BDENF and five (83%) are part of the LILACS database. Regarding the year of publication, in 2009 we had two articles (33%), followed by 2010 with one article (17%), 2013 with two articles (33%) and in 2017 with one article (17%). It is concluded that the strategies that support the patients with HF is the continuing education through the nursing consultation that empowers the nurse to guide the patients about self-care, and their adherence to the treatment.pt_BR
dc.description.resumoA insuficiência cardíaca-IC tem alta prevalência de comorbidades e múltiplas condições crônicas, tornando mais cuidadosa a assistência do paciente com IC, com alto risco de descompensação e internações freqüentes em Unidade Coronariana. O objetivo do estudo foi identificar o papel educativo do enfermeiro na assistência de enfermagem prestada ao paciente portador de insuficiência cardíaca. A pesquisa teve como referencial metodológico a revisão integrativa da literatura. Os resultados mostram que dos artigos analisados, um (17%) faz parte do banco de dados BDENF e cinco (83%) fazem parte do banco de dados LILACS. Relativamente ao ano das publicações, no ano de 2009 tivemos dois artigos (33%), seguido por 2010 com um artigo (17%), 2013 com dois artigos (33%) e em 2017 com um artigo (17%). Concluise que as estratégias que amparam os pacientes com IC é a educação continuada através da consulta de enfermagem que capacita o enfermeiro para orientação aos pacientes sobre o autocuidado, e sobre a adesão dos mesmos ao tratamento.pt_BR
