Hipertensão Arterial: plano de intervenção para a redução dos fatores de risco na Unidade Básica de Saúde Maria Olivia de Castro Oliveira, no Município Aguanil - Minas Gerais

Abstract

Hypertension is an asymptomatic condition that abnormally elevates blood pressure inside the arteries. This is why it is considered a health problem at national and international levels. The objective of this study was to propose an intervention project to reduce the incidence of systemic arterial hypertension in the region of the Maria de Oliveira Family Health Program Team, located in the municipality of Aguanil / MG. Through the simplified strategic planning method, a rapid estimation of health problems in the community was carried out and the priority problem was to reduce the incidence of hypertension in the population attached to the Maria Olivia de Castro Oliveira Family Health Team in Aguanil — Minas Gerais. As a conceptual basis, the paper sought to address the related themes. For the intervention plan, projects / actions were established: (1) Habits and styles of unhealthy lives; (2) Cultural factors and deficiencies that make adherence to treatment difficult; (3) Little information on systemic arterial hypertension, which makes it difficult for the patient to live with it; (4) Process of inadequate health team work to address problems, affecting the quality of care and care. The actions proposed for the project include training for the health team and educational actions with patients. The aim is to address the problem of arterial hypertension by giving speech to the school community, in an attempt to generate the capacity for decision-making by the population.
