As repercussões das visitas aos pacientes internados na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva para familiares e equipes de enfermagem

Abstract

This study addresses the visit to the hospitalized patient in ICU and its relationship with the nursing staff. It is known that the family is entirely connected to the patient through feelings and kin ties or not, it is important to highlight the presence of the same in the care of their loved one. In addition, the family is considered for patients as a safe haven and therefore contributes to make him feel safe and loved, and much of the time motivated to meet the challenges of treatment. It outlined as objective of the study identified in the literature data on the visit of the family of patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit and its relationship with the nursing staff. The method used was the integrative literature review which explored four articles indexed in the Virtual Health Library Databases. Considering also the importance of knowledge and competence that affects the security and confidence to families throughout the process of hospitalization and also the great opportunity to link the creation, thereby providing the care performed by nursing staff. Considering the relevance of the study concluded that the intention of the author is to inform professionals working in the ICU, the results of this research, aiming educates them about the value that the family has to want to stay next to their hospitalized family without loss in the service done by professionals and still create means for the results to be used as enhancement of resources and improving the knowledge of the same in relation to the subject.
