Educação na diversidade sexual e a juventude privada de liberdade : realidades e desafios

Abstract

The existence of educational policies for sexual diversity in Brazil is from the guarantee of human rights envisaged in the Constitution of 1988 established the respect for the dignity of the person as one of its pillars. In this regard, in recent years, a series of educational policies that value human diversity, especially with regard to affective-sexual issues are performed by prioritizing respect for diversity. On the other, this same law is guardhouse in the Constitution, which guarantees a series of rights to the teenagers who meet educational measures due to the practice of illegal acts in Socio-Educational Centres, understanding them as human beings in full development phase, in all its aspects. In this sense, it has become necessary to ask how these teens experience their sexuality while complying with the measures of deprivation of liberty. To this end, we sought the realization of a qualitative research, from conducting field interviews with 10 adolescents Socio Center in Governador Valadares, knowing the speeches they have about their sexuality that territory. Thus, it was noticed a lack of educational policies for sexual diversity geared to adolescents who have committed crimes that are in compliance with educational measures of deprivation and freedom, which favors the practice of sexual acts between teenagers of the same sex without health protection, and homophobic positions between themselves adolescents and youth agents.
