Abstract: | Over the years, technology has constantly evolved and interfered with social and professional relationships, changing the way it acquires information and communicates. For Lévy (1993), “we live today a redistribution of the configuration of knowledge that had stabilized in the seventeenth century with the generalization of printing”. Also modified, due to new technologies, the ways of teaching and learning, changing the roles of the teacher (who now becomes the mediator, and not the sole holder of knowledge) and the student (who is invited to be the author of their learning process), questioning the traditional school norms (which no longer meet the demands and expectations of teachers, students and society in general). In the contemporary setting, there are numerous tools, platforms and applications available for use in the classroom (both for hybridized teaching 1 or distance 2), called TDIC (Digital Information and Communication Technologies), allowed teaching and learning at any time, anywhere, with different devices. It can be said that education will be increasingly linked to technological issues related to mobility, flexibility and ease, also becoming an important ally for the teacher. |
