| Abstract: | Esta monografia buscou investigar na literatura existente as nuances entre dificuldades de aprendizagem e depressão infanto juvenil no contexto escolar. A plataforma consultada para a pesquisa foi o Portal Capes, no período compreendido entre 2003 a 2019, no idioma português. A partir da pesquisa realizada pode-se afirmar que a depressão interfere na aprendizagem e que em muitos casos o baixo desempenho escolar é sintoma de depressão. É possível constatar que os problemas emocionais, comportamentais e cognitivos causados pela depressão impactam na aprendizagem e na convivência escolar. Os textos selecionados apontaram alternativas para o enfrentamento às dificuldades de aprendizagem e da depressão, entre eles, o desenvolvimento da resiliência e da autoestima de crianças e jovens e a capacitação de professores, para que possam perceber os sintomas de depressão em seus alunos e os indícios de comportamentos que indicam tendências suicidas neles. |
| Abstract: | This monograph sought to investigate in the existing literature the relationship between learning difficulties and juvenile depression in the school context. The platform consulted for the research was the Capes Portal, in the period from 2004 to 2019, in Portuguese. The selected texts pointed out alternatives and solutions to the problems of learning difficulties and depression, among them, the development of the resilience and self-esteem of children and young people and the training of teachers, who can perceive the symptoms of depression in their students and the evidence of behaviors that indicate suicidal tendencies in their students. It can be said that depression interferes with learning and that in many cases poor school performance is a symptom of depression. It is also possible to state that the emotional, behavioral and cognitive problems caused by depression have an impact on learning. |
