| Abstract: | A vinda da “Exposição de Pintura Francesa” para o Brasil, em 1940, seguida das mostras de 1945 e 1949, constituíram um acontecimento de grande relevância dentro da vida cultural e artística da época, pois além de tornarem-se um grande evento, possibilitaram a apreciação estética e o estudo de várias de obras conhecidas apenas por meio de publicações em preto e branco. Nesse sentido, o presente artigo tratará das sugestões e influências que alguns artistas presentes nessas mostras despertaram na obra do artista brasileiro José Pancetti (1902-1958). |
| Abstract: | The arrival of the “French Painting Exhibition” to Brazil in 1940, followed by exhibitions of 1945 and 1949, were a very important event in the cultural life and art scene of the time, because besides becoming a great event, it enabled the aesthetic appreciation and study of several works known only through black and white publications.Thus, this article will deal with the suggestions and influences that some artists present in these exhibitions have awakened in the work of Brazilian artist José Pancetti (1902-1958). |
