| Title: | Cadastro nacional de entidades custodiadoras de acervos arquivísticos: diversidade custodial e políticas de memória |

| Abstract: | A boa gestão de arquivos depende que eles sejam conhecidos e identificados. Por isso o Conselho Nacional de Arquivos-Conarq aprovou uma Resolução, em 2019, visando identificar as instituições custodiadoras de acervos arquivísticos e lhe atribuir um código. O presente texto, através da análise documental e da seriação de dados, identifica o perfil institucional dessas instituições custodiadoras. Por meio desses procedimentos procura-se conhecer a realidade custodial brasileira e a importância da implementação de políticas de memória que levem em conta essa diversidade. Essa perspectiva também se desdobra em outra bem mais ampla, que diz respeito à possibilidade de se pensar o fenômeno pós-custodial, em paralelo ao custodial, e suas implicações na preservação dos documentos eletrônicos como registros da memória. |
| Abstract: | Efficient management of public archives walks hand in hand with acknowledgement and identification of them. In light of such fact, the Archive National Council –Conarq approved a Resolution, in 2019, aiming at identifying and coding archival collection management institutions. This paper, by means of document analysis and data seriation,provides identification of the institutional profile of such institutions. The adoption of such procedures aims at investigating the Brazilian management scenario as well as the important role played by memory policies that encompass such diversity. This perspective lead to a broader one regarding the room left for the post-management phenomenon, alongside management, and its implications for preservation of electronic documents as memory records. |
