dc.description.abstractThe objective of this article is to analyze the treatment given to “ideology” in the scientific magazine Boletim Paulista de Geografia (São Paulo, Brazil), from 1949 to 2018. This is a documentary analysis of a transversal character, focusing on articles that presented the word ideology in their titles, keywords or abstracts. Based on the selection of articles with of the term ideology, they were analyzed in their entirety, aiming to answer the following questions: what were the references cited by the authors of the articles analyzed to support the discussion of this concept? Is this conception articulated to the discussion proposed in the articles or does the word simply “appear” in the text? Was there concern from the authors of the analyzed articles in explaining the conception of ideology?pt_BR
dc.description.resumoO objetivo deste artigo é analisar o tratamento dado à “ideologia”, na revista científica Boletim Paulista de Geografia, no período compreendido entre 1949 e 2018. Trata-se de uma análise documental de caráter transversal, tendo por foco artigos que apresentavam, nos títulos, nas palavras-chave ou nos resumos, menção a essa concepção. A partir da seleção dos artigos, tendo como premissa a presença do termo ideologia, estes foram analisados na sua integralidade, objetivando responder às seguintes questões: quais foram as referências citadas pelos autores dos artigos analisados para embasar a discussão deste conceito? Essa concepção se encontra articulada à discussão proposta nos referidos artigos ou a palavra ideologia simplesmente “aparece” no texto? Houve a preocupação, por parte dos autores dos artigos analisados, de explicitar a concepção de ideologia?pt_BR
