Abstract

The writing presents a reflection on taste from a geographical perspective. The main cohesive element of ideas is taste; here, it is often presented in its metaphorical sense in order to present the Earth as Gaya. It gives us the conditions to look inside our selves and realize our existence on Earth. The current environmental crisis shows a Planet scratched by the bitter taste of greed, which is present in the smooth and soft landscape are lief. In the many ways that the word taste appears, the most frequent relations that come to mind are referring to taste, the Earth, landscape, and experience chosen for this purpose. Noguera, Serres, Agamben and Calvino, among others, were references for this work.
