Implantação da visita programada à maternidade: conhecimento vinculação da gestante à Maternidade Carmosina, em Caxias-MA

Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To establish a Scheduled Visit the Pregnant Maternity Carmosina Coutinho promoting linkage and knowledge. METHOD: This is a study with qualitative approach, deals with the visit as a learning strategy and pregnant woman's maternity linking through the articulation of this institution with the Primary Health Care (PHC). A pre-established route for the time of the visit as well as conversation circles will be used. The sample consisted of pregnant women in the third trimester of pregnancy, accompanied by the Primary Care of the Municipality of Caxias.RESULTS: The first visit took place in September with a group of 13pregnant women from Unity cauldrons, was followed a pre-established script for knowledge of the units. The record of the activity was carried out through photos and frequency of participants, there was no record in the pregnant woman's card. Making a preliminary analysis, it was observed that the visit was very fruitful, with the active participation of pregnant women. The delivery room was the environment of most interest them, probably for being the place where the birth takes place, there was an exchange of experiences among them, allowing the negative deconstruction of this moment. Of the pregnant women who participated in the visit only one, so far, she went into labor with natural evolution and uneventful, was safe and informed about what was happening to her. CONCLUSION: Linking helps to demystify the fear of the unknown, the doubts related to admission in the maternity ward when seeking the service, strengthening the bond between stakeholders.
