dc.description.abstract	This paper aims at discussing the tensions between aesthetics and politics and their possible contributions to the understanding of the relationship between Constitutionalism and democracy. To do so, it assumes the theoretical perspective of the contemporary French philosopher Jacques Rancière and focuses on the analysis of the movie “V for Vendetta”. The conclusion is that this movie doesn´t represent an image of a legitimate emancipatory project, because it doesn’t express an aesthetics compatible with the democratic Constitutionalism.	pt_BR
dc.description.resumo	Este artigo visa a discutir as tensões entre estética e política e suas possíveis contribuições para compreender a relação entre constitucionalismo e democracia. Para tanto, ele assume a perspectiva teórica do filósofo francês contemporâneo Jacques Rancière e foca na análise do filme “V de Vingança”. A conclusão é no sentido de que este filme não representa a imagem de um projeto emancipatório legítimo, pois não expressa uma estética compatível com o Constitucionalismo democrático.	pt_BR
