| Abstract: | O ensaio “Não posso saltar sobre suas palavras” coloca em tela a longa e árdua guerra pela terra contra o povo indígena conhecido como Kaiowá ou Guarani-Kaiowá. Essa luta contra-colonial de re-existência envolve práticas insurgentes que fraturam a Modernidade/Colonialidade e tornam possíveis outras maneiras de ser, estar, pensar, saber, sentir, existir e viver-com. Além disso, o ensaio vivifica as possibilidades da comunicação intermundos, do trabalho com a fotografia e as imagens de arquivo. |
| Abstract: | The visual essay “I can’t jump over your words” emphasizes the long and arduous war for land against the Kaiowa or Guarani-Kaiowa indigenous people in Brazil. Their counter-colonial struggle for re-existence involves insurgent practices that break Modernity / Coloniality and make possible other ways of being, thinking, knowing, feeling, existing, and living. Besides, the essay vivifies the inter-world communication possibilities, working with both photography and archival images. |
