| Abstract: | Introdução: A Terapia Nutricional Enteral é de suma importância no tratamento de indivíduos que por algum motivo não conseguem/não podem se alimentar adequadamente por via oral. Há, no mercado brasileiro, diferentes tipos de fórmulas enterais industrializadas e legislações que regem suas características, composição e classificação. O presente artigo tem como objetivo tabular as formulações enterais existentes no Brasil atualmente, descrevendo-as e classificando-as segundo a legislação vigente. Método: A proposta incluiu tabelamento de informações nutricionais de dietas enterais padrão com e sem fibras e dietas modificadas específicas para diabéticos, hepatopatas, nefropatas, pneumopatas, com adição de imunomoduladores, hidrolisadas e para cicatrização de úlceras por pressão. Foram incluídas também as respectivas classificações e preços, a fim de facilitar a seleção em tratamentos nutricionais. Resultados: Foram tabeladas 74 fórmulas, de seis laboratórios diferentes, sendo 24,3% fórmulas padrão sem fibras, 22,9% padrão com fibras, 13,5% para diabéticos, 5,4% para hepatopatas, 8,1% para nefropatas, 4,1% para pneumopatas, 4,1% com adição de imunomoduladores, 13,5% hidrolisadas e 4,1% para cicatrização. Conclusões: As fórmulas possuem diferentes características quanto à composição, o que também justifica a ampla variação de preços. Além do custo-benefício, a escolha deve ser realizada com base na composição das mesmas, de acordo com as necessidades nutricionais individuais do paciente, a fim de selecionar uma fórmula que potencialize a resposta e amplie as possibilidades de sucesso na terapia nutricional. |
| Abstract: | Introduction: Enteral Nutritional Therapy is of great importance in the treatment of individuals who for some reason cannot adequately feed themselves orally. There are in the Brazilian market different types of industrialized enteral formulas and legislations that govern their characteristics, composition and classification. This article aims to tabulate the enteral formulations existing in Brazil today, describing them and classifying them according to the current legislation. Methods: The proposal included tabulation of nutritional information from standard enteral diets with and without fiber and specific modified diets for diabetics, liverworts, nephropathies, pneumopathies, with immunomodulators, hydrolyzed and for healing of pressure ulcers. The respective classifications and prices were also included in order to facilitate selection in nutritional treatments. Results: A total of 74 formulas were collected from six different laboratories: 24.3% were standard formulas without fibers, 22.9% were standard with fibers, 13.5% were diabetics, 5.4% were hepatopathies, 8.1% were nephropathies, 4.1% for pneumopathies, 4.1% with immunomodulators, 13.5% hydrolysates and 4.1% for healing. Conclusions: The formulas have different characteristics regarding composition, which also justifies the wide variation of prices. In addition to cost-benefit, the choice should be made based on their composition, according to the individual nutritional needs of the patient, in order to select a formula that potentiates the response and increase the chances of success in nutritional therapy. |
