| Abstract: | After a gap of more than twenty years, only recently the uncommon Neotropical genus Pazius Navás, 1913 has been focus of scientific researches, with the description of two new species from Colombia. Here all the knowledge about the genus is synthetized, with an identification key to all species, including comprehensive illustrations of male's terminalia and the description of Pazius angaibara sp. nov. from Northern Brazil. Also, a geographic records map of the genus is included. |
| Abstract: | Após um intervalo de mais de vinte anos, apenas recentemente o incomum gênero Neotropical Pazius Navás, 1913 tem sido foco de pesquisas científicas, com a descrição de duas novas espécies da Colômbia. Aqui está sintetizado todo o conhecimento sobre o gênero, com uma chave de identificação para todas as espécies, incluindo ilustrações abrangentes da terminalia do macho e a descrição de Pazius angaibara sp. novembro do Norte do Brasil. Além disso, um mapa de registros geográficos do gênero está incluído. |
