| Abstract: | Case report The gold-standard deviated acetabular fractures treatment is open reduction and internal fixation, with better functional results related to anatomical reduction and restoration of joint congruency . Acetabulum fractures with deviation of the quadrilateral plate represent a challenge for surgeons due to its intra-pelvic position, multi-fragmentary and the associated medial subluxation of the femoral head. Fractures of the quadrilateral lamina are usually associated with columns ruptures, being their isolated deviation an unusual event and still further studies needed . Several methods of fixation have been described with some recent publications describing the method of lag screws. We will describe a case report of a young patient with acetabular fracture in “T” with isolated deviation of the quadrilateral plate submitted to the fixation with plate and anti-shear screws through modified Stoppa |
| Abstract: | Relato de caso O tratamento padrão-ouro das fraturas desviadas do acetábulo é a redução aberta e fixação interna, com melhores resultados funcionais relacionados à redução anatômica e restauração da congruência articular . As fraturas do acetábulo com desvio da placa quadrilátera representam um desafio para os cirurgiões devido à sua posição intrapélvica, multifragmentar e à subluxação medial da cabeça femoral associada. As fraturas da lâmina quadrilátera geralmente estão associadas a rupturas de colunas, sendo seu desvio isolado um evento incomum e ainda são necessários mais estudos . Vários métodos de fixação foram descritos com algumas publicações recentes descrevendo o método de parafusos de compressão. Descreveremos um relato de caso de um paciente jovem com fratura acetabular em “T” com desvio isolado da placa quadrilátera submetida à fixação com placa e parafusos anti-cisalhamento através de Stoppa modificado |
