| Abstract: | Este artigo trata de um tributo aos professores Heinz Charles Kohler e Maria Lea Salgado Labouriau e conta a história de seu trabalho conjunto para a orientação e execução do projeto Gênese e a Dinâmica da Lagoa Santa, localizada em Minas Gerais no município de mesmo nome. O projeto foi executado entre os anos de 1990 a 1993 e aliou estudos interdisciplinares como Geologia, Geomorfologia, Estratigrafia, Palinologia, Paleoclima e Paleovegetação para a descoberta sobre a origem e evolução da lagoa Santa a partir de 6000 anos atrás. |
| Abstract: | This article presents a tribute to professors Heinz Charles Kohler and Maria Lea Salgado Labouriau. It is the report about their work as advisors and main executors of the project Genesis and the Dynamics of Santa Lagoon, located in Minas Gerais state in the municipality of Lagoa Santa, Brazil. The project was executed throughout the years 1990 and 1993 and allied interdisciplinary studies such as Geology, Geomorphology, Stratigraphy, Palinology, Paleoclimate and Paleovegetation for the discovery of the origin and evolution of the Santa lagoon from 6000 years ago. |
