dc.description.abstract | The aim of this research is to understand how organizational change, specifically the implementation of the Individual Performance Evaluation in the Minas Gerais State government, affects the employees’ level of stress. Therefore, this descriptive and explicative study, a survey was developed and standardized questionnaires were applied to 679 respondents, which 247 are from Secretaria de Estado da Saúde (SES), 248 from Secretaria de Estado da Educação (SEE) and 184 from Secretaria de Estado do Planejamento e Gestão (SEPLAG). The data analysis indicates that resistance to change influences stress at work. In other words, individuals who better accept the organizational change tends to have low levels of occupational stress, represented by the physical and mental exhaustion and individuals who are resistant to organizational change are more likely to have high levels of occupational stress. Results offer relevant implications to theory and practice of Human Resource Management. | pt_BR |
| pt_BR |
