| Abstract: | O presente trabalho resulta de uma pesquisa feita junto a fontes fornecidas pela ANVISA, através do Sistema Nacional de Gerenciamento de Produtos Controlados, e outros periódicos, visando estabelecer um vínculo entre o aumento de consumo dos medicamentos ansiolíticos, antidepressivos e hipnóticos; e as mudanças nas relações de trabalho. O trabalho foca em como a manutenção de elevados níveis de produtividade e precarização no trabalho, oriundos de uma sociedade em profundas transformações, geram elevados níveis de estresse dentro da ótica neoliberal. Em contrapartida, para mitigar os sintomas do sofrimento psíquico generalizado na sociedade, gerado a partir do aumento dos níveis de exigência, são elaboradas novas estratégias de solução de conflito nas relações de trabalho através da mediação com base no uso de substâncias psicoativas. |
| Abstract: | The use of anxiolytics, antidepressants and hypnotics has increased drastically in the past few years. The current article studied a link/association between the increased consumption of these medications and the changes in the work environment, initially by maintaining production levels, including its worsening and the uncertainties of a society in deep transformation, within the neoliberal order. Primary data from Anvisa and other journals were used as research source for this study. The data collected, together with the data showed by the media, exposed the increased use of these medications as a result of a search to equilibrate and attenuate the effects of the stress in the work environment and the uncertainties about the future. |
