A utilização do sistema de planejamento last planner em reformas na construção civil - proposta baseada em estudo de caso

Abstract

The job market, mainly in the civil construction area, is a time of great competitiveness. The market has been the target of many changes due to the political and economic aspect and the growing demands of customers. Under these conditions, the innovation of the organizations is essential for the survival and growth of the company. The companies that manage to continue to develop stand out, those that with better results in terms of cost, deadlines and quality of the final product better serve the customer. For this, executive planning is indispensable in a construction. It provides a detailed determination of the activities, their execution deadlines, the moment in time when the activities will take place and the amount of resources involved. In a qualitative and exploratory way, the proposal of the study case, presented as a front of this research, is to present the Last Planner system to the civil construction company, and to develop the beginning of its implementation, so that it is possible to use this base in all your upcoming ventures. In the research, the objective was, the improvement in the organizational structure, improvement in the definition of tasks, determination of deadlines and obtaining the total control of its activities, with the purpose thus the productivity and aiming to reach in the short to medium term its greater profitability. The project was divided into four chapters. The first one comprises a bibliographic review regarding planning in civil construction. The second consisted of the bibliographic research of the Last Planner planning system, showing what it is, its emergence, development, how it works within a company, its structure and foundations. In the third chapter will be presented the methodology used in the research, all documental analysis and data collection. And the fourth and final chapter brings the development of a study case e of the company "X", in the area of civil construction, which did not carry out any type of planning in its projects.It was evidenced how planning represents the study of the best strategy adopted for the execution of a sequence of activities with the best use of resources based on the information available at the moment such as projects, specifications, construction processes and budget in addition to the knowledge and technical capacity of the people who will be responsible for the production. This chapter brings the analyzes and results developed. Among the conclusions, the practical success of the implementation of the Last Planner system in the company where the study was carried out.
