| Abstract: | O artigo apresenta um panorama sobre a questão das fake news no Brasil e realiza uma análise comparada a fim de identificar práticas paradigmáticas de tentativa de combate ao fenômeno da desinformação. Para tal, o trabalho faz um compilado bibliográfico das principais definições de fake news em voga na atualidade, bem como analisa as vertentes dos projetos de lei em trâmite no Congresso Nacional brasileiro em 2019. |
| Abstract: | The article presents a general panorama on the contemporary issue of misinformation and fake news. It focuses primarily on Brazil, but also aims to make a comparative analysis on public and private policies to fight fake news and misinformation. In order to do that, the article makes an attempt to gather the main definitions of fake news, and review the projects to fight misinformation that are now pending in Brazil’s National Congress. |
