dc.description.abstract	This article is the report of the research project under development, from the partnership with the group "African Ivories in the Atlantic World", FALE of the University of Lisbon, from the international cooperation agreement called "The production, circulation and use of ivory Africans in the Atlantic space of the XV-XIX" signed with the UFMG. Considering the transit issues involved in the movement of nomadic, religious and ordinary objects, this research developed in Minas Gerais collections has the objective of launching hypotheses about local production.	pt_BR
dc.description.resumo	Este artigo é o relato do projeto de pesquisa em desenvolvimento, a partir da parceria com o grupo “Marfins Africanos no Mundo Atlântico”, FALE da Universidade de Lisboa, a partir do convênio de cooperação internacional denominado “A produção, circulação e utilização de marfins africanos no espaço atlântico do XV-XIX” assinado com a UFMG. Considerando questões de trânsito que envolve a circulação de objetos nômades, religiosos e laicos, esta pesquisa desenvolvida em acervos mineiros tem por objetivo lançar hipóteses sobre a produção local.	pt_BR
